ltower The group behind the L Tower, the aesthetically alluring development at Yonge Street and Front Street East, is a veritable Toronto dream team consisting of Castlepoint Realty, Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Group.

Do too many cooks spoil the broth? Not when you’ve got some of the city’s finest developers working on a project. The L Tower has been a welcome sight for anyone driving along the Gardiner or gazing toward Toronto southeast end.

So Castlepoint, Fernbrook and Cityzen have built one heck of a condo tower, but they also just threw one heck of a party. When it came to topping off the L Tower, the three builders certainly spared no expense.

The famous Oliver and Bonacini restaurant at Yonge and Front hosted the celebration and supplied the crowd with some seriously gourmet cuisine. The project’s acclaimed architect, Daniel Libeskind, was in attendance as was city councilor Michael Thompson.

The climax of the evening was a unique acrobatic performance set on the illuminated L Tower. We wish our photos did the performance justice, but this is definitely one of those “you had to be there” events.

Check out our photos from the event below…
