You know a house is interesting when it is named one of  National Geographic’s “Photos of the Day”.

Photographed by Irene Becker, this “River House” is a home in the middle of the Drina River in Serbia. The river stretches 346 kilometers and forms most of the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

This particular home is near the town of Bajina at the edge of the Tara National Park. While the River House isn’t listed as one of the town’s tourist attractions, we think it should be. After all this home brings a whole new meaning to the words “waterfront property”.
