It’s not $95 million, but it’ll have to do: A two-apartment combo at Manhattan’s poshest address has hit the market with a $44 million asking price.
The two adjacent units on the 24th floor of 15 Central Park West measure 3,952 square feet in total and have five bedrooms and seven bathrooms between them, according to the Wall Street Journal. The spread is owned by retired bathroom appliance mogul Neil Witriol, who bought one unit in 2008 for $7.8 million and the second in 2010 for $8.9 million.
The apartments, which have yet to be integrated into one unit, have 76 feet of oversized windows looking over Central Park. The listing is being handled by Roberta Golubock of Sotheby’s International Realty, who told the Wall Street Journal that the unit purchased in 2008 was gut-renoated, with a chromotherapy steam shower installed in the bathroom.
Chromotherapy? We’re tickled neon pink. Given Witriol’s former business, we expect that the bathrooms in this place will be insane. Judge for yourself with these interior shots below from the Sotheby’s site, and if you can’t get enough of 15 Central Park West, there’s always the $95 million apartment on the 35th floor.
