Torontonians have endured some scorching days so far this summer and coming up with creative ways to cool off can be tough.

Why not go to a place where someone has already done the hard part for you? Where all you need to do is change into some swim trunks and dive in.

Deerhurst Resort is one of those place where water reigns supreme. The Skyline-owned Huntsville resort offers tons of activities including stand-up paddle boards, fishing boats, pontoon boats, bow riders, EZ Cats, Hobie cats, canoes and rowboats. Kids are also known to flock to Splash Zone, Canada’s largest inflatable park on the water. Sounds pretty idyllic on a 33 degree day, right?

Are a few visits during the summer not enough? Well, you could always just live there. Skyline is offering interested cottage hunters to “own the lake” with the introduction of Deerhurst Lakeside Lodge, their new whole-ownership waterfront condo development. Prices at Lakeside Lodge start from $189,900.

Skyline is promising a classic cottage vibe with a seriously modern accent. Couple that with the dozens of water-centric activities and you’ve got yourself an awesome summer experience.  Check back for more buzz on this one soon and make sure you’re staying cool until then.
