The Arman on Greenwich in West SoHo has a pretty spectacular history. The French-born artist moved to the city in 1961 and created many notable public sculptures during his time in New York. The Arman is being built on the site of the world-renowned artist’s workplace.

Magnum Real Estate Group is bringing this project to life and with occupancy slated for fall/winter 2012, their work is nearly complete.

Karl Fischer Architect is the firm behind The Armand.


The Armand will stand 10 stories above Greenwich and Canal Street.

Can’t wait to see this one when the scaffolding and hoarding come down.
