Think an hour and a half presentation on Canadian demographics sounds boring? You could not be more wrong!

Last night, The Prescott by Wesgroup Properties held its first presentation in The Prescott Idea Series. Members of the community were invited to The Prescott’s preview center at 1133 Lonsdale in North Vancouver to listen to economist David Baxter’s presentation titled “Changing People + Places”.

The place was packed. Baxter’s impressive presentation distilled dense demographic statistics into clear indicators about the housing market in Vancouver.

Amongst his many interesting points, Baxter argued that Vancouver housing prices are actually low. Now, there’s some food for thought!

Between Baxter’s great presentation, the welcoming vibe and the gorgeous preview centre, last night’s event was a great way to kick off this engaging series. There are four more presentations in the series, taking place on Thursday evenings throughout June. For more information, check out the The Prescott Event Series website.

And, if you missed last night’s presentation, don’t worry! We’ve got some pictures below.
