rise condos exterior The last time we were at the RISE sales centre, Reserve Properties had turned it into a discussion forum for the entrepreneurs and business savvy among us. Yesterday night, the sales centre proved it’s a more versatile venue than one would think, playing host to a fashion show and pop-up clothing store.

It was the third and final installment of On the Rise, a CnC (cocktails and conversations) event series that highlights young people doing remarkable things. This edition was titled “The Business of Fashion” and doubled as a fundraiser for the Jewish National Fund.

Canadian fashion designers Evan Biddell, Shawn Hewson and Lucian Matis were in attendance, speaking about their craft and showing off their wares.

The event was hosted by Robin Kay, the President of the Fashion Design Council of Canada and the Executive Director and World MasterCard Fashion Week.

We didn’t manage to make it to this one, but we managed to lay our hands on some photos from the event. Check them out!
