The area surrounding the intersection is snapping and crackling with life and, when E Condos launches this spring, it will be popping too. The new two-tower project by Bazis, Metropia and Riocan will be situated on the northeast corner of Yonge and Eglinton and promises to make the most of its great location.
Not only will it be in the middle of a transit hub, with Eglinton subway station and the soon-to-be-built Eglinton LRT only moments away, it will also boast an underground connection to the transit lines and the Yonge-Eglinton Centre.
Torontonians know how valuable this underground connection will be on those bone-chilling January mornings (this winter excepted).
And, as you may know, transit hubs quickly turn into other types of hubs too and Yonge and Eglinton is become a go-to spot for shopping, dining and nightlife.
The development itself will feature suites ranging in size from 400 to 1200 square feet starting in the mid $200’s. It will also sport some excellent indoor and outdoor amenities like technology lounges, a state-of-the-art gym, dining areas and party and game rooms. All the amenity spaces will be designed by the interior design whizzes at Mike Niven Interior Design.
However, the big eye catching amenity will be the two cantilevered pools projects out from the buildings with one perching about halfway up one tower while the other will extend at the penthouse level.
We’ll have more on this one soon, so stay tuned if you’re thinking of making Yonge and Eglinton your future home. In the meantime, direct your gaze to the full building exterior rendering below:
