Looks like things are looking up (literally) for Surrey, with a new 47-storey tower being proposed for the city.
It would take the title of third tallest building in Metro Vancouver, behind downtown Vancouver’s Harbour Centre and Shangri-la. The project is being developed in partnership with the City, Century Group, and Cotter Architects.
According to Civic Surrey, the skyscraper will be a mix of retail space on the ground level, office space in the podium, 160 hotel rooms in a side tower, and 320 residential units in the main tower. And an entire floor will be ballrooms and meeting rooms, to meet the Surrey Board of Trade’s conference centre plans.
The project is expected to be completed in 2016, and we’re excited for the progress shots!
