Brooklyn-based entrepreneur and musician Amber Lee was in the house (or sales centre) to speak about creative capital and the changing landscape of business. After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Amber moved to New York and has been involved with several start-ups. She’s also the mastermind behind BKLYN HAUS, a digital talent agency.
Attendees enjoyed complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres while admiring the RISE scale model and model suite. Amber’s talk began at 7:30 and was followed by a solo acoustic performance of songs she’s written with her band, Amber and Little Criminals.
During her talk she covered topics like why New York is such a hub for creative talent, what Toronto can do to improve its international standing in the creative capital world and cool, made in New York concepts like General Assembly.
