We’ve just caught wind of a great charity initiative and we want to spread the word, along with a healthy dose of good cheer!

Members of the Heron Family are spreading good cheer by collecting toys for the appropriately named, Toy Mountain. This initiative benefits the Salvation Army, which ensures that the toys go to children in need.

By members of the Heron Family, we don’t just mean Hugh Heron (the founder of Heathwood Homes) and the gang.

We actually mean the customers, staff and suppliers of Heathwood Homes as well as the charity group, the Mikey Network and the Heron moving company, Two Men and a Truck. Talk about a real team effort!

Folks, as in members of the public, as in you, are invited to drop off a new, unwrapped toy to any Heathwood Homes sales office, Two Men and a Truck store or to the Heron Group’s head office between now and December 17th. There’s no time to waste!

Two Men and a Truck will deliver the toys on December 19th during CTV’s live News at 6 broadcast from the Pickering Town Centre.

Don’t be a Scrooge, head over to Heathwood’s website to find a drop-off location near you.
