This North Vancouver boutique condo project by Wesgroup Properties has been selling like hot cakes and we’re willing to bet that these great prices have something to do with the big sales numbers. We know that correlation doesn’t necessarily imply causation, but we’re pretty confident about this one.
The preview centre for the development will be closing for Christmas Break on December 19th, so if you’re interested in pre-grand opening prices, the big December 1-9 is the last day to do so.
If they keep up this pace, will they even need to have a grand opening? The darn thing might just sell out before then… Probably not, but as we’ve learned to expect from that hot Vancouver market, anything is possible.
So the prices are great — one bedrooms from $304,900, two bedrooms from $567,900, nice! — but there’s plenty of other reasons why The Prescott is appealing to so many folks.
There’s the epic views of Mount Baker to the southeast, Lion’s Gate Bridge and Gulf Islands to the south and southwest and the North Shore Mountains. There’s the massive decks that average 150 square feet and the convenient location at 13th and Lonsdale. It’s also close to good transit and great shops and dining.
The Prescott will also be big on the sustainability features. In fact, it will be one of the most energy efficient buildings in North Vancouver and 20 per cent more efficient that the current city standard, ASHRAE 2007 (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).
