Nothing boosts real estate values quite like proximity to a new transit station. In fact, homes within 500 metres of a station have been known to see 10 to 20 per cent increases in value.
With increases like that, it’s easy to understand why all eyes are on Coquitlam. The Metro Vancouver city will soon be connected to central Vancouver once work is complete on the Evergreen Line — a planned 10.9 kilometre rapid transit line that should begin servicing the area by 2016.
Currently in its registration phase, the 72 unit development will be only 400 metres away from the new Burquitlam Skytrain Station on the Evergreen Line.
Easton will feature architecture by Integra Architects and interiors by Portico Design. Upper floor suites will offer amazing mountain views, while all residents will have the convenience of the new transit station to enjoy. The station will be only a 5 minute walk away (or about 1 and a half songs, for those of you who measure distance by iPod playlists).
