Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Saving Private Ryan… Steven Spielberg’s film resume is impressive to say the least and his influence on 20th century film making is undeniable.
It makes sense then that Cinema Tower, the new development by Daniels, would name one of their suites after the acclaimed director. This may be an apples and oranges comparison, but Cinema Tower‘s influence has been growing steadily and it will definitely be remembered as a groundbreaking development in the same way as Spielberg will be remembered as a groundbreaking director.
Perhaps we’re being a tad dramatic, but we just can’t help catching a case of film fever when we write about Cinema Tower. It’s the intoxicating effect of the dramatic arts!
So why is Cinema Tower such a significant project? Of course, it has a lot to do with its immaculate suite designs and amazing amenities, but what really stands out is the development’s exclusive partnership with TIFF Bell Lightbox, the five screen cinema that is the official home of the Toronto International Film Festival.
It’s a truly unique partnership that gives residents a three year membership to TIFF Bell Lightbox with exclusive privileges like invites to events held in Cinema Tower‘s state-of-the-art screening room and pre-sale tickets to film festival screenings at the Bell Lightbox theatres.
But that’s enough TIFF-talk for now, let’s allow the one bedroom + study Spielberg suite — Cinema Tower’s suite of the week — to dazzle us with its great design.
What a beauty! This suite is 821 square feet with 683 square feet of indoor space and 138 square feet of outdoor area (varies per floor). The price? A cool $484,900. Now, we don’t know Mr. Spielberg personally, but we’re quite sure he would be pleased to learn that his namesake is being used on such a marvelous suite.
