We’re big proponents of the lakeside lifestyle here at BuzzBuzzHome, so it’s always a treat when we visit a development that’s staked out a coveted spot near Lake Ontario.

The moment we stepped out of the BuzzBuzzMobile at the Lago Condos sales centre we were hit with a cool lake breeze — essential on such a hot day — while a fresh scent permeated the area. Were we immediately sold on the location? You bet we were!

Situated near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Park Lawn, Lago, the new project by Monarch Group, will boast beautiful views of the city and lake as well as myriad enviro-friendly features for the greenies among us.

Have a look at our rundown of green features here.

When we arrived at the sales centre, the team was busy preparing for the opening of the sales centre to the public on Saturday (12pm, be there!).

Luckily they still had time to give us a tour of the sleek, modern building and a full rundown of all the must-know info about Lago.

Check out pics and more info below!

The balconies introduce a sense of horizontal movement around the tower which accentuates its square shape.
Lago’s lobby will be two storeys and four high speed elevators will serve the tower.
Kitchens at Lago will feature a choice of granite or composite quartz countertop with square edges and a choice of porcelain or ceramic tile backsplash.
A peek at a Lago suite’s ultra-efficient closet storage.
Some suites will feature kitchens with extended breakfast bars on the islands.
In the bathroom you’ll have a choice of marble or porcelain floor tiles and a cultured marble tap with a contemporary integrated sink

Don’t forget to check out the sales centre on Saturday, September 17 when doors open to the public. The fun begins at 12pm at 2167 Lake Shore Boulevard West. And, as always, check back here for more buzz!
