The BuzzBuzzHomies have fine tuned photography skills when it comes to snapping shots of scale models and model suites, but yesterday we got a serious lesson in paparazzi photography as we entered the media scrum in front of the Hoxton on Bathurst.

We were photographing a film screening sponsored by The Merton, the new luxury townhouse project by Tibro Developments, and DVG Real Estate. We’ve always enjoyed the hustle and bustle of development industry events, but this was something completely different thanks to one very special guest.

The film being screened at the Hoxton was Teenage Paparazzo, a documentary produced by Adrian Grenier, best known for playing Vincent Chase in HBO’s hit series Entourage. Adrian was there to promote the film, meet fans and take questions from the audience following the screening.

Have a look at some of our pics of the event below and be sure to check out The Merton’s development page to get full details on this 12 unit luxury project near Mount Pleasant and Davisville Avenue.

Onlookers and fans await the arrival of Adrian Grenier in front of the Hoxton on Bathurst.
And then he arrives. Professional photographers and amateur iPhone phototakers scrambled to get a good shot.
Yup, it was pretty busy. Can you spot the celeb?

Thanks to The Merton and DVG for giving us the opportunity to perfect our paparazzi skills. Check back soon for more buzz on The Merton and try to spot a few celebrities over the next week and a half. It is TIFF after all!
