The news that Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg bought a mansion in Palo Alto, California, broke late last week (kudos to Gawker who, by our watch, first reported the ultra-important scoop) but we figured we’d wait until the pictures inevitably surfaced before servin’ up the news.

Well, they’re here.

First, though, the details. The home, reportedly purchased for $7 million, is a 5,617 square foot mansion built at the turn of the century. It sits behind at least one wall and a large privacy hedge in Palo Alto’s Crescent Park neighbourhood. (If only ‘privacy hedges’ existed on Facebook, Monsieur Zuckerberg!). The home features 5 bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half bathrooms, a formal living room with a fireplace, a wood-paneled family room, a banquet-size dining room, and a large kitchen that opens onto a glassed-in porch and a salt water pool.

Have a look!

Not too shabby. . .
