This past weekend Gibson Square, a major condominium project under construction at the corner of Yonge Street and Empress Avenue in North York, released a new selection of suites. The new batch is located on the podium floors in the North Tower.
Gibson Square, as you can see from the rendering to the left, is comprised of two bold 42-storey towers atop a five-storey podium – the bottom two floors of which are contain common areas, including a swanky double height lobby with a sophisticated seating lounge, and a 20,00 square foot recreation and entertainment amenity facility known as the Gibson Club.
The soaring lobby, as mentioned
The newly released suites are on floors 3, 4 and 5 of the podium and include one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den and two-bedroom layouts. They range in size from 630 square feet to 1025 square feet. Prices start at $361,990 and slide upwards to $559,990 but, at the moment, Menkes Development Ltd., who is developing the project, is offering $5,000 off the sticker price of one-bedroom and one-bedroom plus den units and $10,000 off two-bedroom units. Now that’s an incentive!
The lovely Roof Garden
Gibson Square, which hopes to have folks moving into their brand spankin’ new places by October 2013 for the South Tower and late winter 2014 for the North Tower, will have direct underground access to the North York Centre subway station and the Empress Walk Shopping Centre – a feature, Menkes says, that has been of particular appeal to their many purchasers (purchasers, we’re guessing, who wisely remember what those January winds feel like).
