You may have heard about the G8 Summit held at Deerhurst Summit Lodges last summer when chaps with last names like Sarkozy, Cameron, and Obama stayed at the Muskoka-area resort while meeting with other world leaders.
Well, the condominiums at Deerhurst (situated in Huntsville) are now available for purchase, starting from $149,900. OK, take a deep breath, because we’re about to list the four-season activities that the resort accommodates. Ready? Hiking, golf, swimming (pool or lake), laying on the beach, spa treatments, downhill and cross-country skiing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, hockey, dining, tennis, and horseback riding.
We feel happily sunburnt already!
Interestingly, Deerhurst Summit Lodges offers a program whereby owners can put their homes in a rental program to help with carrying costs and, potentially, make some change for their pockets.
It sounds like purchasers will be in good hands: Skyline, the company that developed Deerhurst, has had success with other resorts like Horsehoe Resort, in Barrie, and Port McNicoll, near Midland. Skyline also offers a program called Skylife which allows members to access unlimited access to skiing and golfing plus discounts on spa outings as well as discounts on rooms at other resorts and discounts on properties around the world. Sweet!
You had us at Obama!
