James Di Luca, who knows a thing or two about real estate (he’s a principal in Falconcrest Homes, which specializes in low-rise communities), has added to his own real estate portfolio by purchasing a 812 square foot, one-bedroom plus den layout at Chaz.
Like any investment, said Di Luca, it’s about identifying potential. “I already own a few commercial properties and residential units in this section of Toronto,” he said, “and I see how the area is changing and evolving. The progress is tremendous, and it will get even better.”
Chaz’s location, at Charles Street East and Yonge Street, lends the project extra value, said Di Luca. “It’s in an ideal location, steps from the Yonge and Bloor subway lines, Yorkville and Yonge Street. It’s just a block south of Bloor, but without Bloor Street prices. There’s great value in this condominium.”
The level of quality of the features and finishes at Chaz. Yorkville. also appealed to Di Luca: “Being a builder myself, I pay attention to the features, and the quality here is really impressive. The plumbing, lighting fixtures, cabinets and so on are usually costly upgrades in other condominiums.”
Though, he says, considering the developers, he’s not surprised that the project showcases impressive attention to detail. “Both Jason Fane of 45 Charles Ltd and David McComb of Edenshaw Homes Limited have impressive backgrounds and incredible track records. They are detail oriented and hands on, which I appreciate.”
Suites at Chaz. Yorkville. start at the low $300ks. To learn more about the project, visit their website or call 416-922-004.
