It’s good to be Tom Brady. The New England Patriots quarterback just sold his Manhattan condo for $3.5 million more than he paid for it.
Brady purchased the 74th floor, 3,000 square-foot condo in the Time Warner Center for $14 million in 2006 and has now just sold it for $17.5 million.
Interestingly, Brady’s real estate agent for the deal was Robert De Niro’s son Raphael De Niro. Raphael is a high performing broker at New York’s Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Brady listed the property with De Niro soon after he purchased it five years ago. The condo sat on the market for four years, was eventually rented out for $50,000 and has now finally been sold.
Brady’s profit of $3.5 million may not mean much to him though. He makes that amount playing just two football games and his super model wife, Giselle Bundchen, is the 16th richest woman in entertainment.
While half of America reels in recession and foreclosure, it’s good to be Brady.
