When realtors are buying suites, not for their clients, but for themselves, you know a condominium project has hit the right notes.
The building’s design, she says, attracted her immediately:
“I was excited when this intimate six-storey condominium came on the market and I bought right away, I like something a little different in architecture, and 68 Main is going to be outstanding. So much thought has gone into the design, and it’s in the middle of beautiful heritage buildings. The location is just where I want to be.”
Evidently, Mary’s not alone. How about this: Her mother and her son – a young professional who works in Markham – are both buying their very own suites at 68 Main Street. The family will practically have their own wing!
“I will have a gorgeous kitchen, a large living/dining room, two elegant bathrooms and gorgeous views through huge windows. I won’t be giving up anything by moving from my current home. The suite is spacious, and the standard features and finishes are really rich compared to what other builders offer. The hardwood flooring is absolutely beautiful, and the high baseboards remind me of a bygone era. I’ve looked around a lot, and nothing comes close in the area.”
The area, by the way, is in the midst of an interesting intensification process that aims to attract a deep pool of neighbourhood amenities without losing the charm for which Markham Village, with its gaslight lamps and brick sidewalks, is known. A key part of neighbourhood’s intensification, 68 Main Street was designed in collaboration with the Town of Markham to complement the street’s architectural heritage.
Congrats, Mary, and enjoy!
