Bottles of red were uncorked and delicious pasta was savoured a few days ago at the 68 Main Street [map] presentation centre as Chef Mario Folco and his daughter Deana put on a food demonstration and wine tasting soiree for friends of the project.

Chef Folco owns and operates Folco’s Ristorante, a popular and highly regarded local eatery.

The event was part of the clever ’68 Main Street Condominiums Passport to Value’ program. When passport holders visit the 68 Main Street presentation centre their passport is stamped, making them eligible for discounts from local businesses. Plus – shopping fans take note – purchasers at 68 Main receive a gift card worth $500, which is fantastic for taking advantage of Markham Village’s array of within-walking-distance shops.

We’ll let you enjoy some pics from the event then meet you on the other side for more about the 68 Main project:

Guests are all smiles with the man of the hour

68 Main Street – which is being developed by Sierra Building Group – has more going for its location than just its proximity to Markham Village shopping. The GO train is within a few minutes walk and major arteries – Highway 407 and 404 in particular – are also close by. And speaking of highways, the project will feature auto-share vehicles on-site.

At 68 Main Street by Sierra Building Group, one-bedroom up to three-bedroom layouts range in price from the mid-$200s to more than $1 million. To learn more, visit their website or call 905-305-0822.
