The Station [map] by Brandy Lane Homes will, in the near future, be located at the southwest corner of Wilson Avenue and Allen Road. The Wilson subway station will be so close that you’ll almost be able to hear that little door-closing-chime.

The location is one the project’s many perks and will, we’re betting, appeal to anyone wanting to be minutes from downtown TO – without paying downtown premiums.

The brains behind The Station obviously recognize they’ve got a good thing going and have wisely played up the project’s handy locale (see name of development). A recent marketing strategy, for example, took The Station to, well, the station.

A ‘guerilla’ marketing team in branded hoodies handed out TTC pass holders with an insert promoting the project at a handful of bustling downtown subway stations and street corners. Sounds like an interesting way to get the word out and connect with people simultaneously.

Good times

The Station will be a 388-unit, 14-storey building with units ranging from 495 square feet to 1556 square feet. The amenity list is sweet and includes the urbanas we told you about a few weeks ago.
