Here’s the scoop: Mishka is a dandy two-bedroom layout with generous balcony space, and from today until February 28th, purchasers of the layout will have the option of putting just 15 percent down over two years following an extended deposit structure. Young couples in particular may find this deal a nice way to break into the market.
In addition, the Valentine’s deal also caps education levies at $6,500 and gives purchasers an option to assign with builder’s permission) for $2,500. Again, the flexibility contributed by the option to assign (non condo-speak definition: transferring the Agreement of Purchase and Sale of a unit before closing on the unit) may appeal to new home-owners or young families.

Currently in preconstruction, it’ll be a 41-storey, 332-unit private-label hotel and residence – the first brand to originate in Toronto since the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts were introduced in the 1960s. So, yeah, it’s about time the downtown scene added a little something new – in this case it promises to be refined luxury with a distinct sort of edginess about it.
