It’s game on over at the corner of Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue where Aspen Ridge recently celebrated groundbreaking at their Scenic on Eglinton [map] project.
And the team over at Aspen Ridge reports that sales have sizzled so far for the first two of the project’s phases.
Scenic at Eglinton’s first two Page + Steele Architects-designed towers will rise to 16 and 12 storeys. A smart lookin’ podium will join the towers. The design, we’re told, was drafted with a mind to conform to the contours of the parkland-adjacent property, and views of the park were optimized with plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows. That the project won the Ontario Home Builder’s Association’s 2009 Highrise Project of the Year is not surprising.
The folks at Mike Niven Interior Design are going to take care of the inside of the buildings – so buyers, you’re in good hands. Amenity-wise we’re most intrigued by the saltwater plunge pool complete with an arched waterfall.
Apparently, the success of the first two phases has motivated Aspen Ridge to introduce the third (and final) phase early this year. Kudos!
