One of the major things Ocean Club Waterfront Condominiums [map] has going for it is its location.

The Graywood Developments Ltd and Beaverhall Homes project will sit on the Etobicoke shore of Lake Ontario and is minutes from both amazing parks and all that downtown Toronto can throw at ‘ya.

This balance between resort-style living and city sophistication reportedly inspired Melandro Quilatan and Tania Richardson, principal partners in Tomas Pearce Interior Design Consulting Inc, who appointed Ocean Club’s new model suite. Said Ms. Quilatan:

“Our goal was to take this Florida-style design and make it metropolitan, to combine the concepts of the waterfront and the city – and it’s been a lot of fun creating the look.”

In the kitchen, highlights include clever cupboard space and warm looking valance lighting. The den mixes chrome and glass with organic touches of wood and hides (cool!) to great effect. And in the master bedroom, a silk and pearlescent leather headboard sets a chic tone that is complemented by a groovy stool and some other fun touches.

Check out the photographic evidence:

Black accents were chosen to contrast the soft colours on the walls, cabinets and island
The den features floating glass bookshelves

Etobicoke sure looks to be having a warm winter

The greyish teak flooring was designed to give the suite a ‘deck’ feel
