WestLake Village [map] is creating the du jour urban village–the first of its kind on the Etobicoke waterfront.
Located at Lake Shore and Park Lawn, on the edge of Humber Bay Park, flanked by Mimico Creek, WestLake will have over 60,000 sq. ft of shops (including a major supermarket and drugstore), services, dining and amenities.
Developers Onni want Westlake to be a place to live, work, shop, and play.
But if you don’t live there they still want you to enjoy it!
The WestLake urban village intends to be a place where neighbours can stroll their tree-lined streets, and grab a coffee while they shop.
If that sounds too quaint for your tastes, fear not, as downtown Toronto is an easy ride on the TTC Lakeshore streetcar or Mimico GO train.
Amenities for the project include a grand party room with kitchen, a juice bar with access to a large terrace, an outdoor lounge, BBQ area, outdoor putting green, fitness centre, indoor pool with hot tub and fireplace, spa eucalyptus steam room and sauna, yoga studio, massage therapy rooms, sports lounge with billiards table, and a private theatre. Phew! Breathe!
In the first tower, there will be 487 suites, ranging from 513 to 900 sq. ft., starting at $209,900. Two storey townhomes will also be available, from 1,100 to 1,500 sq. ft.
West Lake Village by Onni Group of Companies has the right idea–a place where you can sleep, but also really live. We like it!
