One developer that we follow very closely at BBH-HQ is Cityzen Development Group – they have some great projects on the go at the moment and also are leading the way with their social marketing initiatives.
We read a story on their blog earlier today and figured we’d spread the word.
The second phase of their Waterlilies [map] project, a joint venture with Fernbrook Homes, Fieldgate Homes and North Star Homes, launched last month to great success (read the article here).
It was a nice little reminder that this sort of stuff still happens and that people still get very excited at the prospect of buying at a specific location.
One of the purchasers who camped out all night to get early option on a unit said:
“I came around 10:30/11pm the day before. I went just to check to see if anyone was actually there. My wife Anna drove me, I didn’t have anything with me and we drove there, saw there were people there already, so she dropped me off!”
It also serves to remind us of the confidence that still exists out there in the marketplace amongst all the negative vibes.
Check out the article over at Cityzen’s blog which includes quotes from some purchasers who actually camped out for the night.
