The New York Post is reporting that Oprah Winfrey is eyeing a $68 million mansion in Alpine, New Jersey.

According to the source, Oprah rocked up to the estate yesterday in a three-car caravan, including two black SUVs and a van.

Her staff then requested that all workers on the ground vacate the premises or make themselves scarce so the billionaire prima donna could walk through the 30,300 square-foot English-manor-style mansion undisturbed.

Alpine is a super affluent borough in Bergen County, New Jersey. It was named by Forbes magazine as the most expensive ZIP code in the country. Its celebrity residents include Eddie Murphy, the Jonas Brothers and CC Sabathia. The average home price in Alpine is $4.14 million and the borough has just over 2000 residents.

The house checked out by Oprah is Alpine’s most expensive home, with walnut and marble floors and Venetian plaster walls.
