Celebrities, exotic cars and a fabulous event?
Obviously a soiree for the rich and famous, of which we’d expect Toronto’s movers and shakers to attend in spades.
But Chaz on Charles [map] was revving up the prestige to raise funds to help construct the new SickKids Research & Learning Tower and support cancer research at SickKids.
The event took place last month in cities throughout North America and ended up raising approximately $2.5 million.
45 Charles Ltd and Edenshaw Homes, Developers of CHAZ on Charles, sponsored McLeod Dixon Partner Micheal Tamblyn’s rare Porsche GT3RS at the third annual event, “Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup”, and landed Eric Roberts as its celebrity navigator.
“We were thrilled to be part of it all,” said Jason Fane, owner of 45 Charles. “The event was a lot of fun for everyone involved, and we are proud to support this wonderful cause.”
Way to go Chaz on Charles for getting involved! Sounds like it was a great time too.
