We paid a visit to the cool new sales center for The Mercer [map] at 8 Mercer St. this week and had a good look around and got the inside track on what’s going on with those BIG windows.

We talked with Andy Desantis, VP, Creative Director of Montana Steele, the creative team behind The Mercer and asked him a bit about the idea, where it came from and how it is being incorporated into the overall look and feel of the sales centre.
“If you go to New York its all about the windows”, Andy said.

“Why not have that presentation of the windows that tell a story and change them up every two or three months – give it a newness and freshness all the time. We can change the windows to be always current, fresh and new. We thought – great idea! It’s the first time we’ve done it and it’s a lot of fun”.

The bright colours will surely attract the attention of passers by

While there we also snapped a couple of pics of the 3D model……..

Looking up

We’re told that the sales centre will be open to registrants starting next month with the full opening penciled in for the New Year. Hopefully we’ll see one more display in the windows by then! A Christmas one perhaps?

The Mercer is open to registrants – to sign up click here. We’ll be following this project closely on the blog so check back soon for the latest updates.
