For me, a 24 hour dream means arts exploration, glamour-shopping and heavenly eats; taking in green areas during the day and sexy dim-lit lounges at night.
And if I’m in Toronto, where would I go to experience all this?
Yorkville! Centred around the Bloor and Younge intersection, all components of my 24 hour dream can be indulged in, lived, explored and adored.
CHAZ on Charles [map], a super hot upcoming condominium project by Edenshaw Homes and 45 Charles Ltd, knows exactly how great the Yorkville area is and purchasers will be able to live my imagined dream, starting with…
The ROM at night
Arts and Culture: Three letters: ROM. The Royal Ontario Museum is steps away from CHAZ, and is easily the top must-see museum in Canada. Boutique art galleries surround the area as well, perfect for one of a kind condo-finishing pieces.
Shopping: Bloor-Yorkville is the top shopping strip in Canada, comparable to Fifth Ave and Rodeo Drive. Get your glamour on with Holt Renfew, Tiffany & Co, Burberry and Coach. Say hi to Hilary Duff for me too.
Eat: In Conde Naste’s online Guide to Toronto, 3 out of 4 of their restaurant listings are located in CHAZ’s ‘hood including Jaime Kennedy at the Gardiner—which sounds super cool, a cafe on the third floor of the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art.
Parks: Nothing’s worse than a neighbourhood without green space, and CHAZ on Charles isn’t close to just your average parkette. Try architectural award-winning Yorkville Park–green class!
Lounging: While I could talk about the dozens of bars and lounges in the area, I’m pretty excited by the two-storey Chaz Club that will be chilling on floors 36 and 37 of CHAZ. Panoramic views of the city, and I can bring my own booze. I ain’t mad at that.
