It’s no secret that Queen St. West and is the epicentre of Toronto’s artist community.
If the innumerable galleries that line the streets don’t tip you off, then the trendy bars and cafes along it certainly will.
It makes perfect sense to call a condo just a couple blocks west of this culture hub, ART [map] and that’s just what Triangle West Developments did.
But art is just a word that gets thrown around far too often, that’s why the developer is showing a serious commitment to Toronto’s artistic community by sponsoring the always-popular Queen West Art Crawl.
The 8th annual Queen West Art Crawl will begin on Friday, September 17 and wrap up on September 19. It will feature live performances at Trinity Bellwoods Park, an outdoor art show and sale, an architecture and gallery tour and kid’s zone where children can learn techniques and create their own masterpieces with help from local artists.
Great to see that ART Condos is connecting with the community and integrating the project into the neighbourhood. They will even be using their presentation gallery to host a stop on the crawl, which from what we hear, will have some very interesting installations on display.
We’ve been sworn to secrecy for the time being but as soon as we’re allowed to spread the word, you’ll be the first to know!
For more information call the ART sales centre at 416-535-7775 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can visit their presentation centre Monday to Thursday between 12pm and 6pm and on Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 5pm. It is closed on Friday.
