The Mercer, a new Toronto condo by Graywood Developments and Beaverhall Homes, is about to kick it up a notch! From the surroundings that pulsate with energy, to the building’s top amenities and sleek suites, The Mercer is going to put the ME in HOME (okay, it also puts the ME in MErcer, as can be seen to the left!)
You may recognize the name “Graywood Developments” as the people behind the ultra-chic Residences at Ritz Carlton. If the name is unfamiliar to you, it’s time to get familiar with Graywood because the company seems to be constantly turning heads with their projects.
There’s a lot to love about The Mercer, but let’s talk about the three key attributes this new development in the heart of downtown Toronto will possess.
Location, location, location….
First, the location could hardly be anymore central. Public transit is literally steps away and an entrance to the extensive underground PATH system will be right across the street. Since it’s still summer, you’re probably thinking, “It’s so beautiful outside, why would I ever want to walk anywhere underground?” Trust me, when the winter weather arrives, the PATH is a godsend.
Catch a movie at the new TIFF Bell Lightbox Theatre, which is only a stones throw away. Walk to a nearby sporting event. Bike over to the lake. Enjoy dinner at a trendy restaurant, or a nightcap at hot club. Enjoy the prime location!
Design, design, design…
Secondly, the design team is top notch and comes with an incredible amount of experience under their belts.
The exterior, designed by the internationally renowned BBB Architects, will feature expanses of glass with brick detailing. While BBB handle the exterior, Toronto’s own Design Agency will create The Mercer‘s luxurious amenities. The centrepiece, the outdoor amenities space on the sixth floor podium, will be nearly half covered by beautiful green space.
Price, price, price!
The third great aspect of this project is the price. The suites, studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom + den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom designs range in size from 363 to 1,133 sq. ft. Prices begin from mid $200,000s.
For a location this central, you could not ask for a better deal.
BuzzBuzzHome recently interviewed Stephen Price, the Senior VP of Corporate Development at Graywood. We’ll be featuring this interview on an upcoming edition of Buzz Talk so make sure to watch for that on the blog.
