The great thing about living in Toronto is that there are always so many great festivals and events during the last few weeks of summer, it really diminishes the painful thought that winter weather is fast approaching.
There’s the Canadian National Exhibition, which opens its gates on August 20 and Queen West Art Crawl which we wrote about earlier this week.
If spending a weekend taking in a Houdini style escape artist act, some fire breathers and other great street performances sounds like your cup of tea, then you’ll want to head over to Buskerfest, held from August 26 to 29 in the St. Lawrence Market.
This is the second year in a row that the festival will be co-sponsored by Cityzen Development Group.
They’ll have a tent set up that will feature some awesome attractions for festival-goers and of course, this will be a great place to learn more about some of their exciting new Toronto condo projects such as Pier 27 [map], and the L Tower [map].
The other big news is Cityzen will be announcing the winner of the Name Our Condo contest at the main stage at 12pm on Thursday, August 26. Oh, the suspense!
Be sure to make it out for at least one day of the four day festival. Buskerfest is supporting Epilepsy Toronto, a non-profit organization that helps people living with epilepsy.
