Why bother renting when you can buy a condo for a comparable monthly price?

Mady Development Corp. is offering a variety of affordably priced units at their twin mid-rise MarketTown Condominiums [map] project, located just north of Highway 400 in North Barrie.

A 552 square foot one bedroom suite is priced at $129,900. After the 20% down payment you’ll pay $943 a month, including mortgage payments, monthly maintenance and taxes.

If you’re in the market for something with a lot more floor space, the 949 square foot three bedroom suites are going for $232,990. Under the same terms, you’ll be paying only $1,655 a month.

The suites are affordable but that doesn’t mean the buildings won’t be chalk full of amenities.

One might say that these MarketTown Condominiums are a “Barrie” good deal.
