Tired of sitting in downtown traffic? Want to live at your vacation home, full time, and just fly into work every day? Now is the time. The flying car has finally arrived! Meet the Terrafugia Transition, the world’s first street-legal flying car.

Will this alter the growth of cities?? I doubt it. You still have to land somewhere!

According to the Huffington Post:

“It can drive on any surface, and, thanks to its foldable wings, can transform into a personal airplane. It can fly at a speed of 115 MPH and has a 460-mile range. As the Telegraph notes, it ‘requires a 1,700-foot (one-third of a mile) runway to take off and can fit in a standard garage.’ The ‘flying car’ is expected to retail for $194,000.”

How cool is that! I am not in the mood to battle the long weekend traffic up to the cottage, and sure wish that I had one of these right now!

I wish they came up with a cooler name, even “The Flying Car” would have been better.
