Toronto’s Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood will soon become even more exciting, when CHAZ on Charles [map] hits the scene.
Fashion-forward design and what are sure to be great views through massive windows will characterize this new luxury condo coming soon to 45 Charles Street East, near Bloor Street.
“There’s a huge demand for new condominiums in the dynamic Bloor-Yonge hub,” says Jason Fane, founder of 45 Charles Ltd, part of the team behind the project.
“Purchasers know how desirable this location is and that a condo here is an excellent investment. CHAZ is in a quiet established residential neighborhood and only one block from the entrance of the Yonge and Bloor subway station.”
“CHAZ is also adjacent to prestigious Yorkville,” says Edenshaw Homes founder David McComb, the other half of the team behind the project.
“Our vision is to create a condominium development that is a vibrant community within a vibrant community. This location is so special that it deserved an extraordinary design from Sol Wassermuhl of Page + Steele / IBI Architects for the sleek, modern exterior and Elaine Cecconi of Cecconi Simone Inc. for the chic interiors.”
Each of CHAZ’s 39 storeys (5 of which will be a podium) will have 8 corner suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and 9’ ceiling heights combining to allow for great natural light and views.
Its amenity package promises to be somewhat of a focal point too, starting with the spectacular two-storey CHAZ CLUB located on the 36th and 37th floors that judging from the picture below will certainly add some ‘cool’ to the area!
The CHAZ CLUB – a 2 storey hang-out spot
The CHAZ CLUB will have a panoramic south-facing view of the city, a VIP room including a demonstration-style cooking area, and is where you’ll be able to entertain and dine with over 20 guests.
We can imagine this room getting some pretty heavy usage from its residents. Looks pretty lavish!
Other amenities to compliment the CHAZ CLUB include a fitness room, spinning area and yoga / pilates room, his and hers saunas, a relax room with Hydrospa and relaxation chairs, Gamers Room, a 3D screening room, and a sports theatre.
Seems as if they have all their bases covered.
One cool feature that the lobby has (we very rarely get to talk about cool lobby features) is a “living room”, where guests and residents can lounge in comfort while waiting for friends or neighbours.
It features a walkout to an outdoor living space with semi-private and secluded lounge areas, a two-sided fireplace, garden, indoor/outdoor dining area with a barbecue, and more. The ‘more’ being exterior landscaping showcasing a large waterfall with a sculpture of frolicking dolphins.
Luxury thy name is CHAZ!
The 420 residential homes consist of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom + den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom and penthouse suites and are priced from the mid-$200,000s to over $1,500,000.
