This weekend Edilcan Development Corp. will hold the grand opening of One Valhalla Towns and Condos [map].

This will include three new glass-clad towers rising from a three-storey, one-acre landscaped podium and 68 contemporary private two and three-storey townhomes, on the site of the former Valhalla Inn.

Designed by Page + Steele / IBI Architects, the buildings will surround a lush courtyard designed by Schollen & Company Inc. to resemble the central squares found across Europe.


Munge Leung Design Associates appointed the contemporary interiors with retro sixties touches that reference the original Valhalla Inn.

The two-storey lobby will feature terrazzo flooring and black walnut highlights. From the indoor pool, splash pool and hot tub area, residents can walk out to the landscaped patio on the podium.

The Resident’s Club bar and lounge also has a walkout to the terrace and amenities include a theatre, fitness facilities, business/study centre complete with Wi-Fi, media/library lounge, guests suites, children’s activity room, landscaped terrace rooftop with barbecue areas, and an outdoor children’s play area.


The site also allows easy access to Sherway Gardens, Cloverdale Mall, Loblaws, Kipling TTC Subway Station and Pearson International Airport and is minutes to the 401, 427, QEW and Gardiner.

In addition, Valhalla Express shuttle bus will be available to transport residents to the subway, grocery and both shopping malls – so your choice of transport isn’t exactly limited!

The 216 condominium residences in Phase One will start from the mid $200,000s. Townhomes (in three and four-bedroom layouts) will begin from the low $400,000s.
