Here at Buzzbuzzhome, we tend to do stories on housing for sale. But rental housing interests us too!
We just have an unquenchable thirst for real estate knowledge that… well, can’t be quenched. So here’s the inside scoop about a new rental development by Concert Properties at the corner of Bay and Dundas.
The building is set to have 29 storeys of rental living with another 11,500 square feet of retail space at grade. There will be 463 suites available. That means a lot more people will have the luxury of living in the very heart of the city! Cool.
The building will have some great amenities too including a resident lounge, games room, study/work centre, gym facility and numerous outdoor terraces with BBQ and lounge areas.
But wait…there’s more! The suites will include modern finishes, dishwashers, and insuite washers/dryers. They will range in size from 415 to 560 square feet.
According to Heather Harley of Concert Developments:
“Although the majority of suites will be studios and one bedrooms ranging from approximately 415 to 560 SF, the overall size range of suites is much larger including two bedroom and den and a limited number of three bedroom suites as large as approximately 1100 SF.”
And the building won’t just be another pretty face, it’s going to be environmentally friendly too! It will target the highest level of Toronto Green Standards (Tier 2) and LEED Gold.
Construction is scheduled to begin this summer and the building is expected to be completed in 2012. So keep an eye out if you’re in the area!
