Russian espionage. It brings to mind images of James Bond, Ronald Reagan and, well, some pretty badass people. Now there’s another one to add to the list. And she was an agent at Redfin… huh??

According to TechFlash:

[Tracey] Foley, who was hired as a contract field agent by Redfin in February, was based in the Boston area along with her husband and two teenage sons…According to her application, she had worked since 2007 for the real estate brokerages Weichert and Channing Real Estate.

Yup, that’s right. A real estate agent working under contract for Redfin has been arrested for being involved with a Russian spy ring. 10 others are suspects as well. Cool.

According to the New York Times:

The suspects were directed to gather information on nuclear weapons, American policy toward Iran, CIA leadership, Congressional politics and many other topics, prosecutors say.

Wow. I thought Russia lost interest in the US after the Cold War, but it turns out Russian spies are still alive and well in the US. That’s good. I mean– it’s not good. It’s intriguing.
