Even Canada’s Commissioner of Competition Melanie Aitken hinted she might need a real estate agent if she were buying or selling a house.
“I know personally I am like the worst negotiator when it comes to dealing with my own affairs,” the commissioner told an audience of about 60 people at a luncheon hosted by the Economic Club of Canada in Toronto, Tuesday.
Ms. Aitken has filed an application with the Competiton Tribunal against the Canadian Real Estate Association for anti-competitive practices.
