12 Degrees [map, 12° website], a new condo by the BSäR Group of Companies, is hot these days. In fact, after being on BuzzBuzzHome for only half of April, it became the most viewed new development of April.

At BuzzBuzzHome we pay a lot of attention to our website-analytics, and try to understand how people use our site. As such, I cannot get 12 Degrees off my mind. Why is it so hot? What makes people so interested in this condominium?

Here are some of my thoughts:

1. Location, location, location! Check out the location on our new-development map (here), or the neighbourhood (here). This condo is smack in the middle of a cool and interesting area. Want to go to the Art Gallery of Ontario, Roy Thompson Hall, or take in some theatre? It is right outside your home. Interested in a movie? Again, right outside your home. Work in the financial district? 10-minute walk. Taking the subway? 6-minute walk. The best? It is a 4 minute walk to my favourite restaurant Nota Bene. Yum yum. Of course, it is also close to a million other amazing places.

Located across from Diamante’s award winning condo Phoebe and Soho, this location is hard to beat. Most Queen West condos are WAY west. This is stretch of Queen Street is scarce for new condominiums, making the demand high for this condominium.

12-Degrees is at the epicentre of everything that makes Queen Street West living so vibrant.

2. Architecture, architecture, architecture! Have you seen the rendering for this building? They are wild. Check out the exterior of the building (above), and check out some more renderings on 12 Degrees’ detailed page (here). Be sure to check out the rooftop pool rendering (below). Amazing.

3. Three-bedroom units! Yes. Welcome to the new Toronto, with awesome downtown living for families. 12° will contain 90 suites (from 450-square-foot studios to 1,700-square-foot suites with three bedrooms); prices from the mid-$300,000s for the smallest unit and going up to about $1-million for the larger suites. The project’s 10 three-bedroom units are proof-positive that developers are betting that Canadians will want to raise children luxury downtown suites. New York has been doing it for years. It is the European lifestyle. How cool is that, and what a perfect location for a family. It is amazing.

4. Choose a suite, or a townhouse. 12 Degrees has both, making this building popular to both condo purchasers and townhome purchasers.

No matter what the reason, 12-Degrees is hot on BuzzBuzzHome. In fact, not only has it been the top viewed condo for the month of April, but every day in May it has also been the most viewed. Pretty amazing for a new condo on the block that has not even started their advertising pitch!
