As probably all of you have heard by now, CAMH launched their latest phase of redevelopment to the public this week.
The second phase in their landmark redevelopment project is based around transforming the Queen Street site into an ‘urban village’ which will be integrated into the local community.
There are so many great things planned for this development, too many to mention here anyway! One of the most intriguing ones is the Gateway Building with the address of 1001 Queen St. West, and the slogan ‘Toronto’s Most Life Changing Address’.
BBH ventured along to the groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday and put together a little video which you can see below. Speakers included Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone, Ontario Minister of Energy & Infrastructure Brad Duguid and Anna Lopez, Vice Chair of the CAMH Foundation amongst others. The event was Emcee’d by Andy Barrie of Metro Morning fame.
It was a great event with a wonderful turnout. This is such an exciting project and one which will add so much to the area. Check out the video to see what the speakers had to say….
