One of the reasons I wish I lived in the US, is the amazing Top-10 Lists related to real-estate. In Canada, we have none (well.. we do have the BuzzBuzzHome Top 10 Hottest Developments!).

Thanks to Forbes for the list below. How’d they do it? To find America’s worst-selling cities, they started with all the Metropolitan Statistical Areas in the U.S. with populations over 1 million. Next they further narrowed the list to the MSAs with the biggest two-year sales price drops for single-family homes, based on data from the National Association of Realtors.

So.. Here it is… The Top 10 Worst-Selling Housing Markets in the US:

10. San Diego, Calif.

9. Atlanta, Ga.

7 (tie). Cleveland, Ohio

7 (tie). Cincinnati, Ohio

6. New York, N.Y.

5. San Francisco, Calif.

3 (tie). St. Louis, Mo.

3. (tie). Los Angeles, Calif.

2. Denver, Colo…..

AND… America’s Worst-Selling Housing Market..

Number 1…. Milwaukee, Wis.

Yes… Milwaukee, Wis., is the home of Miller Brewing, one of the country’s biggest beer makers. DRINK UP MILWAUKEE!
