The Toronto neighbourhood north of Roncesvalles and east of The Junction has been working hard to find a new identity and name. After a year of discussions, the group of residents known as “Fuzzy Boundaries” put out a vote, and found that Junction Triangle (which was originally introduced in the 1970s) won nearly half of the 674 votes cast.

Everyone had a chance to submit neighbourhoods names, which included:

1. Big Banana

2. Black Oak Triangle

4. Forgotten Neighbourhood

5. J-Pod

And, my favourite…. DABLOTRAX (Davenport Bloor Tracks)

Okay.. there were lots of names… so, check them all out here.

As mentioned above, Junction Triangle was the collective favourite by a long shot going into the last round of voting which Fuzzy Boundaries conducted between March 1 and 14.

It is nice to see a group coming together, collectively forming their identity!

Welcome to Toronto, again, Junction Triangle!
