While many of us can only dream of owning luxury real estate in Dubai early last year an 11-year-old boy from Azerbaijan purchased $44 million worth of luxury real estate in just two weeks. His name is Heydar Aliyev which just happens to be the same name as the son of the Azerbaijan President, Ilham Aliyev. Another coincidence: the birthday of the young tycoon also matches his son’s.

Ilham Aliyev could certainly not afford such an extravagant shopping spree on his official salary of $228,000. Azerbaijan is known for political corruption and this purchase would represent the accumulated salary of 10,000 years for the average resident.

The President’s spokesman, when asked for comment on the story, simply said:

“I have no comment on anything. I am stopping this talk. Goodbye,” The Washington Post

Hmm…wonder if that means the President WAS involved. Talk about sounding guilty…
