What if you reluctantly sold your well-appointed house in Ottawa for less than you were hoping for?
What if you later found out that the real estate agents who listed your property – the ones who pressured you into accepting an amount significantly below the asking price – had negotiated that deal with an agent whose office was down the hall in their own firm?
And then, to further complicate the matter, you learned that the agent was snapping up your prized asset on behalf of her husband so that he would have somewhere to live after their marriage separation.
