So the winner of the
Top 10 Best Condo Names was Schoolhouse. It doesn’t surpirse me as pretty much everything about this project is cool. Empire Communities gets an A+ for this project (side note: our office had a bet as to how soon I could slip in a school related reference into this piece. I won!).

Now this is going to sound really stupid, but what strikes me about Schoolhouse [map] is that it used to be a school. I know what some of you are thinking – D’uh – it SAYS it in the NAME. But let me elaborate….

It’s located right smack bang in the middle of the Annex, which is known for is it’s community vibe. It’s a really close-knit neighborhood. Which leads me to my point!

To me, schools have always been the focal point of a community. Something that the locals can rally around, be proud of, show off. Well, this Schoolhouse is definitley something to be proud of! Empire have really gone all out with this one.

Bryon Patton & Associates did the Suite Interiors, and the internationally renowned Neff Kitchens designed the……well……….kitchens! It looks amazing and it makes me think that the developers had a hidden meaning in mind when they came up with the seemingly obvious name.

Yes, it used to be a school, but maybe they knew that this place was going to be a focal point that the community would be proud of!

(side note 2: I lost a bet on how many school related puns I could fit in. Win some, lose some!)
